Ed Reed Golf Classic is set for July
NFL player and Destrehan native, Ed Reed, will hold the first annual Ed Reed/Valero Golf Classic on Monday, July 2 at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace.
Proceeds will benefit the Ed Reed Eye of the Hurricane Foundation. To register a team or for more information, call 985-764-4738
Youth basketball summer camp next month
Hahnville High will host their youth basketball camp on July 9 through July 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the boys gymnasium.
$125 per camper after June 5 (sibling discounts are available).
Boys and Girls between the ages of 4 to 16 are invited to attend. Campers may bring their lunch or lunch money.
All campers will receive an official camp basketball, t-shirt, and giveaways during the week.

Summer sports camp sign up
The Willowdale Sports Summer Camp has a lot to offer and will be held Monday through Friday for $120 per week.
Sessions offered are tennis, golf, swimming, soccer, kickball and basketball.
Movies and cool-down time are also camp features.
