Lady Tigers, Wildcats place 12 on All-District 1st Team, 2 on 2nd Team

All-District 1st Team

Jerry Nugent – Coach of the Year – Hahnville head softball coach Jerry Nugent is an 18 -year coaching veteran who led his Lady Tigers to a perfect 12-0 district record and advanced to the second round of the LHSAA playoffs this season.

Lauren Beadle – All-District MVP – Lauren Beadle was a workhorse inside the circle for the Lady Tigers this season. She pitched a perfect district record going 12 – 0. earning a .89 ERA. Beadle threw 67 strikeouts, gave up 18 walks and 39 hits over 66 innings. Beadle will continue throwing from inside the circle as a pitcher next year for Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport.

Courtney Ortego – Hahnville freshman Courtney Ortego played 64 innings and hit 457 in district play with an on-base percentage of .548

Danielle Duplay – Hahnville freshman Danielle Duplay had a .667 BA in 60 innings of play and earned eight putouts in the field.

Jourdyn Hogan – Hahnville sophomore Jourdyn Hogan hit .585 in 66 innings. Hogan earned  OB percentage of .679 in District play.

Kamryn Keller – Hahnville freshman Kamryn Keller banged in a healthy 26 RBI and went 3 for 3 on stolen bases. Keller hit .585 from the dish.

Maeson Martindale – Hahnville freshman Maeson Martindale had 23 assists and earned a .515 BA.

Prycilla Prince – Hahnville sophomore Prycilla Prince proved she’s a royal asset with 19 assists and a BA of .486 and a OB percentage of .618

Sara VanEtta – Hahnville freshman Sara VanEtta knows her way around the batter’s box hitting .512 and in the field earning 10 putouts.

Krista Robles – Destrehan junior pitcher-third baseman Krista Robles went 7-2 from the mound had a .97 ERA and a BA .465

Madison LeBlanc – Hahnville sophomore catcher Madison LeBlanc had 81 putouts and batted .472

Taylor Lucich – DHS junior Taylor Lucich is looking at a good senior year with 24 assists, 17 putouts and .474 BA

All-District 2nd Team

Carla Beck – Destrehan sophomore Carla Beck pitcher made second team All-District by throwing from inside the circle.

Morgan Foret – A DHS senior who played second base and had a flame on her bat with seven HR and 36 RBI making her second team All-District.
