The Hahnville High School girls’ soccer team was never tested in district play, cruising to the championship with a 12-0 record that included numerous shutouts.

Hahnville wrapped up district play last Wednesday by crushing Bonnabel 8-0. Hahnville cruised to a 4-0 halftime lead with goals from Jessica St. Pierre, Kimberly Porche, Ashleigh Gaudet and Amy Barre.

In the second half, Barre added another score to increase the Lady Tiger lead to 5-0 and Taylor Laurent put the Lady Tigers on top 6-0 after finding the back of the net. Freshman Madison Boyer added two more goals for the final margin.

After finishing district play, Hahnville displayed the same offensive intensity in a 7-0 win over St. Charles Catholic on Friday. Grayson Touchard led the Lady Tigers to the win with three goals. St. Pierre, Gaudet, Barre and Brandi Soignier also added scores for Hahnville.

But Hahnville’s impressive win streak came to an end Monday night in a 4-1 loss to Vandebilt Catholic. Porche was the only Lady Tiger who managed to find the back of the net in the loss.

The Lady Wildcats also rolled through district play, finishing with a 9-3 record that was good enough for second place. Two of the Lady Wildcats district losses came to Hahnville.
