The Hahnville High School girls soccer team is hosting their 13th Annual Battle on the Bayou Invitational Soccer Tournament.
The tournament will be held on Dec. 4th and 5th. Hahnville High School will be host to 15 of the top high school teams in Southeast Louisiana.
“We hope this year’s tournament will be successful by capturing the spirit, competition, and fun of the sport of soccer,” said tournament director Gabel St. Pierre.
Participating high school teams include: Bay High, Central Lafourche, DeRidder, Independence, Morgan City, Comeaux Varisty and Junior Varsity, East Jefferson, Riverside Academy, H.L. Bourgeois, Destrehan, Lutcher, Live Oak, University High, and Catholic High of New Iberia.
The first games played on three separate fields will begin at 8am on Saturday. The Hahnville Lady Tigers will take on their first opponent, Morgan City, at 11am on the turf in Tiger Stadium.
