St. Charles Parish Hospital hosted pre-sports physicals for the four middle schools in St. Charles Parish on Saturday, Aug. 18.
This event is organized annually by the hospital at the request of the middle schools in order to provide parents with a convenient way to get physicals for their children for the school year.
Coaches from each school were present to meet the parents and children and answer any questions.
A total of 311 Students received a thorough screening which included a musculoskeletal assessment, vision screening, height and weight, vital signs, review of their medical history and a physical assessment by a physician.
