Austin Perrin, an upcoming sophomore at Hahnville High School, was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance during the Perfect Game 15U WWBA National Championship.
Perrin played in the tournament with the 15U Marucci Elite-Card regional high school showcase team. In seven games against some of the top competition from around the country, Perrin batted .389 with an on-base percentage plus slugging percentage of .865. He finished with two RBIs and scored six runs for his squad.
Though Perrin made the All-Tournament team for his performance from the plate, the rising sophomore also pitched in two games for the Marucci squad. He struck out 10 batters in nine innings, finishing with a 2.33 ERA.
