Hahnville falls in state title game

Ouachita proved to be too much for Hahnville down the stretch, outscoring the Tigers 28-11 in the fourth quarter to claim the state championship with a 70-53 victory.

Though the Tigers trailed for a majority of the contest, momentum shifted their way by the end of the third, and Hahnville tied the score at 42-42 heading into the fourth quarter.

But that momentum was taken away quickly when the final frame got underway. Ouachita went on a 14-2 run in the first four minutes of the fourth, and the Tigers were unable to dig themselves out of that hole.
