Hahnville alum deals in LSU matchup

The University of Louisiana-Lafayette put a familiar face on the mound in its matchup with LSU last week in the Wally Pontiff Game.

Former Hahnville standout pitcher Austin Perrin came on in relief and pitched 3.1 shutout innings, scattering four hits while walking two and striking out one. He was a key contributor in the Cajuns 3-1 win over the Tigers. The left-hander stayed ahead of LSU hitters, throwing first pitch strikes to 11 of the 16 batters he faced.
