Fighting for playoff berth, Lady Tigers knock off East St. John

The Hahnville Lady Tigers soccer team picked up a huge win over East St. John on Friday, blasting the Wildcats 7-0.

Kim Porche scored two goals for Hahnville, while Jessica St. Pierre, Brandi Fabre, Grayson Touchard, Amye Barre and Arden Robert all scored a goal.

On defense, the Lady Tigers were led by Destiny Louviere, who made some nice stops in the shutout.

Hahnville had struggled in their previous two games, suffering a 2-0 loss to the district-leading Dutchtown Griffins and another 2-0 defeat to St. Amant.

The Lady Tigers will close out district play on Friday at home against Destrehan.

The game will serve as the “Senior Salute Night” for players Claire Crutti, Kayleigh Eppling, Peyton Percle and Arden Roberts.

Kickoff will begin after the Hahnville boy’s game and the game will be broadcast live on the St. Charles Parish Public Schools’ Web site.
