Taraina Hamilton, a member of the National Honor Society, will be playing basketball with the Lady Choctaws coached by Paul Allen Duke at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.
Taraina was team co-captain for Destrehan High School, a four-year letter winner, second in 3-pointers, and selected by the LHSAA All-State Academic Honorable Mention with a compensatory score of 3.78.
Taraina is the daughter of Harold and Tanza Hamilton of St. Rose.
