Hahnville and Destrehan dominated the District 7-5A championships on Friday, with Hahnville winning first place and Destrehan finishing second.
Hahnville had seven wrestlers claim individual championships in their respective divisions. Nicholas Lirette won first place in the 113-pound division, while Aaron Cambre took top honors in the 132-pound division.
Chris Jones won the 138-pound weight class, Hunter Dempster finished in first for the 145-pound division and Kenderick Jones came out on top in the 195-pound division.
Trevon Honor and Blade Rager also won individual championships in the 182-pound and 285-pound divisions, respectively.
Destrehan placed three wrestlers in the top spot. Jack Haslauer claimed first place in the 120-pound division while Chase Menendez finished in first in the 160-pound weight class.
RaeJuan Marbley also won a championship for the Wildcats in the 220-pound division.
