The competition dance team from Kelli’s Kreative Dance in Destrehan recently ended a very successful competition season.
Coached and choreographed by Micque Voges, these 6 to 8-year-old first-time competitors won top adjucation awards and overall division high point awards at four competitions with their routine “Hey Good Lookin.”
The group also won the Internal Inferno Award for having the highest score of the weekend at the Fire and Ice Competition, beating out 149 other intermediate groups for the top award. They also took home most entertaining and best video awards.
Their awards for the year were; High Gold award at Starbound New Orleans; Elite Gold, Top First and overall score awards at Dance Magic New Orleans; Elite Gold and overall group winners at Dancers Inc. New Orleans; Double Platinum, Most Entertaining, Best Video and overall 1st place awards at Rainbow Baton Rouge; Diamond award, 1st place overall high score, Internal Inferno overall winner at Fire and Ice New Orleans.
