DANCERS: Auditions for Louisiana Dance Team

The Louisiana Eagles will conduct auditions for the 2007-2008 E-Gals Dance Team on Saturday, June 9, at Port Allen High School. Auditions will begin at noon on the football field. The E-Gals dance team will participate in cheer and dance routines during Eagles home and away games.

The Louisiana Eagles’ home games will be played throughout the state, including Port Allen and Gonzales.

The team will be comprised of an energetic group of dancers, cheerleaders and gymnasts able to provide exciting entertainment and crowd encouraging presentations.

In addition, the team will participate in various community service events scheduled throughout the season.

Potential candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be a high school graduate.

Candidates will be judged based on physical and personal appearance evaluation, their ability to grasp choreographed dance routines, maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively.

Candidates will learn a brief routine and perform it between the Baton Rouge Fuel Women’s Tackle Football game and the Louisiana Eagles playoff game.

The Fuel will kickoff at 4 p.m. and be followed by the Eagles at 7 p.m.

The performing portion of the audition is open to the public. The 2007-2008 Louisiana E-Gals will be announced at halftime of the Eagles game!

Candidates are asked to return forms along with a $20 non-refundable fee to the Eagles office by noon on Friday, June 8.

Candidates who choose to register after the pre-registration deadline will be charged a $25 non-refundable fee.
