REEL NEWS: Fishing rodeo at Spillway Park

The St. Charles Parish Council on Aging’s Annual Fishing Rodeo is scheduled for Friday, March 30 at the Spillway Park Pavilion in Norco from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for all residents over 60.

The St. Charles Fireman’s Association wants you for their annual benefit golf tournament held on Friday, April 27 at the Willowdale Country Club.

Proceeds will assist parish firefighters with life threatening illnesses exceeding incurance coverage.

Flag football coming to a field near you

The United Flag Football League is looking for interested teams and referees to register for a newly formed Houma league.

The team is open to men ages 18 and older and the season kicks off on Saturday, April, 14.

The UFFL is a nationwide league and registration is $35 per person with a mandatory 15 person team.

Adult kickball team need new members

The WAKA Kickball team is now registering new members for its co-ed adult kickball division in New Orleans.

Registration for the LA Triumphs is $60 and open to individuals, small groups and full teams.

Kick-off is Thursday, May 3 in Audubon Park at 6 p.m.

The Louisiana Razorbacks football team is holding tryouts for men 19-30.

The team is an adult amateur minor leaague football team.

The team is a member of the North American Football League.
