The USSSA 9AA Blazin’ Canes baseball team from Destrehan finished their season by placing second in the 9AA state tournament held at Cypress Mounds in Baton Rouge.
In their first year as a team their 9AA overall record was 17-3-1. Coaches are: Gerald Mire, Head Coach Trey Granier and Stephen Pfister.
Team members are: Dustin Mire, Kohen Granier, Brandon Robichaux, Evan Pfister, Jeremy Scheffler, Jacob Lougon, Sam Delaney, Dillon Deroche, Dane Simon and Brennan Gilberti.
