Parish Christians are rebuilding New Orleans church for the deaf … and they need YOUR help
The good folks at Luling’s First Union Presbyterian and the Christian Motorcycle Association need your help in their mission to repair storm damage at the Canal Boulevard Baptist Church of the Deaf in New Orleans. It’s not just a lot or work – as this picture shows, it’s also a lot of fun.
On the first Saturday of each month, for at least another six months, volunteers are needed to help repair the estimated $30,000 in damages caused by Hurricane Katrina. To get involved, call Lisa Easterling at 985-785-8486.
