Arrests

•Alexis Chyine, 28, of 6711 Hallshire in Memphis, Tenn. was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with attempted murder.

•Josman Munos, 22, of 106 Bonura Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with simple burglary and possession of burglary tools.

•Randolph Howie, 41, of 400 Ruth Dr. in Avondale was arrested on Aug. 1 and charged with DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Patty Lutz, 41, of 2221 Timbers St. in Harvey was arrested on Aug. 1 and charged with DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, driver’s license suspended or revoked.

•Gregory Vasser, 26, of 1622 Arnoult St. in Metairie was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with second degree battery.

•Kevin P. Landry, 49, of 14051 Old Spanish Trail in Boutte was arrested on Aug. 3 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and suspended driver’s license.

•Harris J. Dufrene, 64, of 125 Jane St. in Paradis was arrested on Aug. 3 and charged with DWI and improper lane use.

•Keyiondrile Washington, 24, 4220 Eproin in Metairie was arrested on Aug. 5 and charged with aggravated battery.

•Corey D. Bailey Sr., 38, was arrested on Aug. 5 and charged with armed robbery.

•Heather R. Hebert, 24, of 119 Michael St. in Ama was arrested on July 30 and charged with access device fraud after making a purchase at Wal-Mart with a stolen check.

•Reginald Smith, 31, of 242 Clayton Dr. in Norco was arrested on Aug. 4 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in the presence of juveniles, failure to register an American pitbull terrier (5 counts) and on a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office attachment.

•Charles M. Dyer, 27, of 14477 LA 631 Lot 2 in Paradis was arrested on Aug. 5 and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance in the presence of juveniles.

•James B. Jones, 32, of 310 St. Charles Place #4 in Hahnville was arrested on Aug. 4 and charged with false imprisonment, simple battery, aggravated assault, and on a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office attachment and as a fugitive of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Keith L. Hirstius, 52, of 4209 Asher Ct. Apt. A in Kenner was arrested on Aug. 4 and charged with DWI, improper lane use, suspended driver’s license, expired insurance and as a fugitive of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Theft

•A leaf and grass blower, valued at $275, was stolen from 13001 U.S. 90 in Boutte on Aug. 3.

•A patio umbrella, valued at $100, was stolen from 12807 U.S. 90 in Luling on Aug. 4.

•A Huffy bicycle, valued at $200, was stolen from 304 Balboa Dr. in Luling on Aug. 2.

•Two telephone receivers, valued at $189, were stolen from 424 Oak Lane in Luling on Aug. 2.

•A Blackjack II phone, valued at $500, was stolen from 118 Mark Dr. in Des Allemands on Aug. 1.

•A lawn mower and edger, valued at $500, were stolen from 104 Ellington Ave. in Luling on Aug. 1.

•A gas-powered weed eater, valued at $150, was stolen from 124 Oak Manor in St. Rose on July 31.

•A watch, three telephones, two pearl necklaces, an I-Pod, various knives, pearl earring, miscellaneous chains and rings, valued at $1,695 were stolen from 120 Stephen St. in St. Rose on July 31.
•Four Topiary Holly plants, valued at $250, were stolen from 481 Sugarland Parkway in Hahnville on July 31.

•A digital camera, valued at $120 was stolen from 235 Riverview Dr. in St. Rose on Aug. 4.
•A portable tent, valued at $120, was stolen from 324 Beaupre Dr. in Luling on Aug. 4.

•A lawn mower, a weed eater and a blower, valued at $1,369, were stolen from 304 E. Club. Dr. in St. Rose on Aug. 4.

•An X-box and assorted games, valued at $1,530, were stolen from 358 S. Kinler St. in Boutte on Aug. 5.

•Assorted jewelry was stolen from 419 West B St. in Norco on Aug. 5.

•An amplifier and a subwoofer, valued at $300, were stolen from 331 Ash St. in Boutte on Aug. 5.

•A tool set, assorted X-box games, assorted Playstation 2 games, a bush trimmer, assorted college books, seven computer monitors, assorted wireless mouse controllers and two crockpots, total value $3,840, were stolen from 215 Mary St. in Norco on Aug. 6.
