Arrests
• Parke Smith, 64, was arrested July 10 in Destrehan and charged with domestic abuse battery – minor injury.
• Christopher Burke, 50, was arrested July 11 in Luling and charged with disturbing the peace – appearing in an intoxicated manner.
• Jeanine Kennon, 43, was arrested July 11 in Destrehan and charged with theft from a building.
• Akeem Mitchell, 39, was arrested July 7 in Boutte and charged with theft (shoplifting).
• Pennie Scott, 61, was arrested July 6 in Paradis. and charged with obstructing public passages and disturbing the peace – offensive, derisive, annoying words to another.
• Brian April, 42, was arrested July 7 in Gretna and charged with simple burglary.
• Detriel Sentimore, 40, was arrested July 1 in Luling and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
• Malcom Perkins, 69, was arrested July 1 in St. Rose and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, distribution/manufacture of cocaine (attempted), distribution/manufacture of cocaine (two counts) and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.
