Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law
Arrests
• Jermaine Smith, 48, was arrested June 16 in Boutte and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and attempted simple burglary – vehicle.
• Armond Poindexter, 24, was arrested June 13 in Killona and charged with misrepresentation during booking.
• Thomas Housley III, 52, was arrested June 15 in Destrehan and charged with possession of marijuana, failure to display license plate, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, switched plate, owner to secure registration, false certificates and possession of alcoholic beverages. He was a fugitive.
• Kayla Kennon, 22, was arrested June 13 and charged with possession of cocaine, taking contraband to/from penal institutions – prohibited and domestic abuse battery. She was a fugitive.
• Troy Joseph, 35, was arrested June 17 in Destrehan and charged with reckless operation with accident, hit and run, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, security required, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia, proper equipment required on vehicle-inspection tag required, flight from an officer, resisting an officer, and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.
