Arrests

•Gwendolyn H. Brown, 43, of 730 Vans Lane in New Sarpy, was arrested on March 3 and charged with aggravated battery.

•Larry C. Ranson Jr., 28, of 338 Smith St. in Hahnville, was arrested on March 2 and charged with possession with intent SCH I – Marijuana and possession with intent – Crack.

•Gisel Rubio, 18, of 71 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on March 9 and charged with cruelty to animals, rabies vaccine required, having dogs on tethers, breeder registration required and pit bull registration required.

•Joy-Ln C. Cockerham, 19, of 236 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on March 10 and charged with burglary of a moveable.

•Perry J. Beebe, 43, of 128B Cottage Drive in Luling, was arrested on March 6 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.

•Herman Sanders, 47, of 3115 Ledbetter in Dallas, Texas, was arrested on March 6 and charged with D.W.I. – refusal of chemical test, aggravated obstruction of highway, reckless operation and driver not licensed.

•Kevin S. Tyler, 29, of 124 Pine St. in Des Allemands, was arrested on March 6 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, suspended driver’s license and conspiracy to hit and run driving.

•Jamie E. Byrd, 28, of 11 Brandon Hall Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on March 7 and charged with D.W.I.

•James J. Hughes III, 38, of 331 St. Anthony St. in Luling, was arrested on March 8 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.

•William L. Smith Jr., 50, of 304 N. Pierce St. in Metairie, was arrested on March 10 and charged with D.W.I., established speed zones, open container and driver not licensed.

Theft

•A bicycle, total value of $450, was stolen from 501 East Heather St. in Luling on Feb. 26.

•A DVD player, two 12” speakers, a PlayStation2 and assorted jewelry were stolen from 13737 LA 631 in Boutte on Feb. 25.

•A cell phone, total value of $200, was stolen from 15774 River Road in Norco on Feb. 25.

•Two Dell DLP Projectors, total value of $2,000, were stolen from 140 E. James Drive in St. Rose on Feb. 25.

•Assorted lawn equipment was stolen and vending machines were damaged at a business at 13098 Highway 90 in Boutte on Feb. 25.

•Eight steel beams, total value of $1,500, were stolen from 1538 LA 52 in Luling on March 1.

•Cigars, a handgun and a holster, total value of $450, were stolen out of a vehicle at 422 Maryland in Luling on March 1.

•Assorted clothing was stolen from 405 River Oaks Drive in Luling on March 1.

•A CD player, total value of $125, was stolen out of a vehicle at 17000 LA 18 in Taft on March 1.

•Two Catalytic convertors, total value of $200, were stolen out of a vehicle at 120 Mallard Suite 200 in St. Rose on March 2.

•Assorted jewelry was stolen from 216 Evangeline Road in Montz on March 2.

•Assorted clothing and assorted tools were stolen out of a vehicle at 11966 LA 48 in St. Rose on March 2.

•Assorted jewelry was stolen from 510 W. Easy St. in New Sarpy on March 3.

•$90, a Walmart gift card, a military ID, a driver’s license, a wallet, a cell phone and a debit card, total value of $350, were stolen out of a vehicle at the West Guide Levee Boat Launch in Montz.
