Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law
Arrests
• Shemar Ursin, 36, of 230 Janet Drive in St. Rose, was arrested March 4 and charged with violation of protective orders.
• Dwayne Brown Jr., 28, of 954 Asheville Drive in Slidell, was arrested Feb. 28 and charged with bank fraud and monetary instrument abuse.
• David White Jr., of 167 Annex Street in New Sarpy, was arrested March 4 and charged with possession of Fentanyl, possession of Valium, possession of Xanax, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS (four counts), illegal possession of stolen things, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia and sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited. He was a fugitive.
• James Smith, 34, of 8016 Macon Street in Metairie, was arrested March 2 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS and traffic violation.
