Sheriff’s Reports 3-31-2016

Arrests

  • Jeffrey Stipe, 54, of 309 Killona Drive in Killona, was arrested March 13 and charged with simple burglary.
  • Charles  Vanderford, 52, of 102 Rabbit Run Road in Bolton, was arrested March 18 and charged with theft of items valued between $750 and $5,000.
  • Gaston Craig, 32, of 1538 Lake Calais Court in Baton Rouge, was arrested March 20 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and license without updated address change.
  • Ryan Bourg, 31, of 1461 Hwy. 55 in Montegut, was arrested March 21 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and possession of open container in vehicle.
  • Tashawn Cannon, 25, of 339 King St., was arrested March 23 and charged with distribution of marijuana, driving not licensed and driving without working tail lamps.
  • Craig Dufrene, 56, of 203 Mark Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested March 22 and charged with DWI (second offense), driving with suspended license, use/possession with intent of drug paraphernalia, and possession of schedule IV drugs.

Thefts

  • Various power leads were damaged at the spillway at U.S. Hwy. 61 in Norco on March 19.
  • Ninety crab traps were stolen from Lake Salvador in Des Allemands on March 18.
  • A 9 mm pistol, a wallet containing assorted identification cards, a hammer and a pair of sunglasses were stolen out of a vehicle from the above location.
  • A tail gate was stolen from a vehicle parked at 13775 LA Hwy. 18 in Luling on March 20.
  • A tail gate was stolen from 602 Giacomo St. in Norco on March 20.
  • A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from 110 East James Drive in St. Rose on March 19.
  • A tail gate was stolen off a vehicle parked at 13755 River Road in Luling on March 20.
  • A draw bar and rowing disc valued at $400 were stolen from the 100 block of Vans Lane in New Sarpy on March 21.
