Sheriff’s Reports 5-16-2011

Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

•Lucille Jefferson, 61, of 308 Timothy St. in Boutte, was arrested on June 6 and charged with cruelty to animals, dogs on tethers (leash), breeder registration required, pitt bull registration required, rabies vaccine required, and dogs running at large (8 cts.).

•James I. Lane, 51, of 320 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on June 6 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with  unauthorized use of a moveable on June 7.

•Brian R. Champagne, 40, of 347 Dandelion Drive in Waggaman, was arrested on June 6 and charged with theft over $1,500.

•Richard C. Ruffino Jr., 18, of 360 Rosedale Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on June 7 and charged with theft under $300 and unauthorized use of an access card.

•Gary C. Markey, 22, of 903 Kinler St. in Luling, was arrested on June 7 and charged with moentary instrument abuse.

•Jeffry Venable, 30, of 511 Avenue B in Marrero, was arrested on June 7 and charged with D.W.I., suspended license and improper control of vehicle.

•Gary Diggs, 28, of 128 Hickory St. in Boutte, was arrested on June 9 and charged with armed robbery.

•Don P. Boudreaux, 47, of 15029 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis,was arrested on June 9 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

•Nathan U. Burton, 25, of 2909 Iowa Ave. in Kenner, was arrested on June 9 and charged with D.W.I., stop/stand/park – bus/res., open container and suspended driver’s license.

•Travis Hose, 22, of 56978 Louis XIV St. in New Orleans, was arrested on June 12 and charged with D.W.I. and speeding.

•Troy McIntyre, 34, of 2147 Hwy. 440 in Kentwood, was arrested on June 10 and charged with D.W.I., not having insurance and not driving in the roadway lane traffic.

•Patrick Plaisance, of 319 Valencia Drive in Luling, was arrested on June 12 and charged with D.W.I. (Fourth Offense)

•Kidada Scott, 31, of 605 Killdeer in LaPlace, was arrested on June 11 and charged with D.W.I. and improper control of vehicle.

•Ashley Tullia, 29, of 12333 Hampton Village in Baton Rouge, was arrested on June 10 and charged with D.W.I. and improper control of a vehicle.

Theft

•A fax machine, two X Box game systems and a DVD were stolen from 10641 LA 18 in Ama on June 6.

•Assorted tool were stolen from 18 Cactus Lane in St. Rose on June 7.

•Assorted copper wiring and tubing were stolen from 85 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte on June 7.
