Arrests

Ryan R. Jaufre, 18, 3232 Johnson St., Metairie, was arrested on May 23 and charged with simple burglary after being involved in a burglary where approximately $9,000 worth of copper was taken.

Dayshawn T. Preston, 17, 1122 Kinler St., Boutte, was arrested on May 23 and charged with cruelty to animals after officers observed his pit bull chained to the front of his residence. The dog was extremely thin and without food or water. The dog was seized and transported to St. Charles Animal Shelter for evaluation.

Travis Sunlin, 27, 906 E. Hoover, New Sarpy, was arrested on May 17 and charged with possession of crack cocaine on May 17 after officers stopped him for suspicious activity. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of crack cocaine.

Abonda H. Keller, 37, 511 South Kinler St., Boutte, was arrested on May 17 and charged with aggravated battery after an altercation with a family member in which she allegedly fired a gun shot at a family member, grazing the victim’s leg.

DWIs

Delicio D. Raymond, 30, 265 Chad B St., Reserve, was arrested may 18 and charged with D.W.I., hit and run, and careless operation.

Brandon C. Jacob, 31, 125 Clayton Dr., Norco, was arrested may 24 and charged with D.W.I. and careless operation.

Thefts

A laptop computer and two X-Box controllers valued at $1,140 were stolen May 23 from 298 Post St., Killona.

A utility trailer, a four-wheeler, and a 10 ft. aluminum boat valued at $6,300 were stolen May 23 from 4 Cathy Dr., Luling.

A 13 inch TV, assorted tools, assorted fishing equipment, assorted camping equipment, and assorted blankets valued at $2,150 were stolen may 23 from 13935 U.S. 90, Boutte.

A .22 caliber rifle valued at $500 was stolen May 23 from 473 Estay Lane., Paradis.

A 1989 Buick Eldorado valued at $1,000 was stolen May 22 from 302 E. Club Dr., St. Rose.

A trailer valued at $800 was stolen may 21 from 115 W. James Dr., St. Rose.

Assorted tools and lawn equipment of an undetermined value were stolen May 21 from 813 Fonda St., Paradis.

A 1999 freightliner truck of an undetermined value was stolen may 21 from 14284 Hwy. 90, Boutte.

A Boat Motor valued at $300 was stolen may 21 from 3729 Tara Dr., Destrehan.

A pair of work boots, assorted CDs and a radio of an undetermined value were stolen out of a vehicle May 21 from 1121 Primrose Dr., Boutte.

A 2007 Honda Civic valued at $23,000 was stolen May 20 from 13001 U.S. 90, Boutte.

Two diamond rings and a Playstation video game console of an undetermined value were stolen may 20 from 108 Acadia Lane., Destrehan.

A pressure washer, a cordless drill, two plastic containers, a tool box with assorted tools, and a drill hole set of an undetermined value were stolen May 19 from 217 Browning Dr., Luling.

A 2001 Chevrolet Blazer valued at $2,300 was stolen May 19 from 608 E. Club Dr., St. Rose.

Assorted car alarms, a license plate frame and a backpack with two speakers valued at $1,160 were stolen May 19 from 14648 River Rd., New Sarpy.

Assorted crown molding, two spray nozzles and assorted portable lights of an undetermined value were stolen May 19 from 104 Rue Sidney, St. Rose.

A Honda motor, four-wheeler, and overhead rack for a small boat valued at $10,520 were stolen May 18 from U.S. 90 @ J.B. Green Rd., Des Allemands.

A cell phone valued at $270 was stolen May 18 from 434 South St., Paradis.
