All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

DWI

•Cochise A. Brunet, 30, of 121 Maple Ave. in Houma was arrested on July 22 and charged with DWI.

•Chad E. Crawford, 34, of 233 Mimosa Dr. in Luling was arrested on July 21 and charged with DWI.

•Miguel Ramirez, 25, of 916 Charlotte St. in New Orleans was arrested on July 22 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, open container, no seatbelt, no driver’s license and no license plate.

•Cagal K. Badeaux, 43, of 120 River Oaks in Belle Chase was arrested on July 24 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and suspended driver’s license.

Theft

•Soft drinks from a vending machine at 102 Fifth St. in Norco were stolen after the window of the machine was broken on July 20.

•A mountain bike, valued at $90, was stolen from 225 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan on July 19.

•An air condition unit, valued at $150, was stolen from 340 Post St. in Killona was stolen on July 19.

•A laptop computer, a recorder/camera, camera case, an external hard drive and assorted CDs were stolen from a vehicle at 102 Peter Ln. in St. Rose on July 23.

•Assorted jewelry, valued at $1050 was stolen from 178 Villere Dr. in Destrehan on July 23.

•A computer with monitor, valued at $539, was stolen from 16660 LA 631 in Des Allemands on July 22.

•A bicycle, valued at $150, was stolen from 13001 Hwy. 90 in Boutte on July 20.

•A 1997 Volvo was stolen from 10405 U.S. 61 in St. Rose on July 22.

Arrests

•Larry J. Jacobs, 54, of 14665 LA 631 in Paradis was arrested on July 18 and charged with distribution of crack cocaine and principal to distribution of crack cocaine.

•Raymond Rios, 19, of 51 Bonura Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on July 17 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage and illegal use of weapon.

•Samuel P. Vinnett, 42, of 524 Mockingbird St. in St. Rose was arrested on July 23 and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

•Lance M. Lanier, 25, of 413 Ristrolph St. in Luling was arrested on July 23 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

•Quentin A. Woods, 31, of 618 N. Elms St. in Metairie was arrested on July 20 and charged with illegal possession of stolen things, improper display, no MVI, seat belt usage, child restraint (2 counts) and no diriver’s license on person.

•Debra Lumar, 49, of 1832 Paul Maillard Rd. in Boutte was arrested on July 20 and charged with aggravated battery, resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and entry and remaining after being forbidden.

•Lionel Brown, 24, of 1019 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling was arrested on July 21 and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

•Leon Davis, 25, of 2838 Chippewa St. in New Orleans was arrested on July 20 and charged wtih possession of cocaine and possession of contraband in a correctional facility.

•Ramon R. Issac, 20, of 817 E. 78th St. was arrested on July 21 and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

•Bruce Simmons, 37, of 166 J.B. Martin Rd. in Des Allemands was arrested on July 20 and charged with obscenity.

•Andrew J. Vidal, 18, of 82 Carriage Lane in Destrehan was arrested on July 19 and charged with 2nd degree battery.

Incidents

•Two victims at 134 Wenger Rd. in Des Allemands heard a knock on the door. As the victims opended the door, two black male subjects wearing black ski masks and all black clothing forced their way into the residence. One of the subjects hit on of the victims in the head with what appeared to be a small machine gun. The subjects rummaged through the residence then fled the scene with a purse and wallet. This incident is under investigation. Anyone having any information is asked to call Detective Donald Smith at 985-783-7735 or 985-783-6807.

•Unknown subjects broke into the Pit Stop #2 located at 12205 U.S. 90 in Luling by cutting through the roof of the business. At the time of report, it was undetermined if any items were mi ssing.
