Arrests

•Roland M. Perrin, 30, of 649 Pat Dr. in Avondale was arrested on March 24 and charged with contractor’s missapplication of payments.

•Antoine J. Becnel, 61, of 273 Griffin Lane in Ama was arrested on March 24 and charged with cruelty to animals.

•Larry Smith Jr., 30, of 2624 English Colony Dr.  in LaPlace was arrested on March 24 and charged with aggravated battery.

•Remy A. Ortiz, 19, of 5 Everglades St. in Kenner was arrested on March 23 and charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

•Pedro F. Benitez, 54, of 170 Boutte Estates Drive was arrested on March 23 and charged with DWI.

•David L. Brewer, 35, of 264 Carolyn Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 22 and charged with DWI and reckless operation.

•Brandy L. Bush, 33, of 70 Rosedown Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 22 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, hit and run, driver’s license not on person and as a fugitive of Kenner Police Department.

•Michelle S. Conlni, 26, of 15 Waverly Place in Destrehan was arrested on March 24 and charged with DWI and reckless driving.

•William L. Faucheux, 46, of 234 Destrehan Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 21 and charged with DWI, no turn signal, reckless operation, open container, failure to change address within 10 days.

•Brad A. Luquette, 37, of 301 Milling Ave. in Luling was arrested on March 22 and charged with DWI, open container and possession of Alprazolam.

•Major Mackie Jr., 42, of 262 St. Charles St. in New Sarpy was arrested on March 26 and charged with attempted second degree murder, on a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office attachment and as a fugitive for the Kenner Police Department.

• Mark D. Edwards, 27, was arrested on March 17 and charged with DWI.

Theft

•A CD player and two subwoofers, valued at $760, was stolen from a vehicle at 158 Dunleith Dr. in Destrehan on March 26.

•Two watches, two wallets, a camera, value $1670, were stolen  from 25 Oakley Dr. in Destrehan on March 26.

•Assorted tools and a tool bag, valued at $1430, were stolen out of a vehicle at 353 Longview Dr. in St. Rose on March 26.

•Three pallets of Mardi Gras beads and four generators were stolen from 10016 LA 48 in St. Rose on March 26.

•A pit bull puppy, valued at $500, was stolen from 247 Terrace St. in New Sarpy on March 26.

•Four FEMA trailer tires and rims, valued at $350, were stolen from 1358 Paul Frederick St. in Luling on March 20.

•An aluminum flat boat, valued at $600, was stolen from #2 Pipeline Canal in St. Rose on March 22.

•A Cox Cable modem, valued at $125, was stolen from 159 Dianne Dr. in St. Rose on March 20.

•Assorted tools and a utility trailer was stolen from 131 Ormond Center Ct. in Destrehan on March 23.

•A sports coat and a carton of cigarettes, valued at $169, was stolen from 13001 U.S. 90 in Boutte on March 20.

•A purse containing $300 and assorted ID cards was stolen from 13491 U.S. 90 in Boutte on March 20.

•Welding leads, valued $800, was stolen from 181 Riverbend Rd. in St. Rose on March 24.

•Assorted lawn equipment, valued at $524, was stolen from 501 Longwood Dr. in Destrehan on March 24.

•A 12-gauge shotgun, two pairs of binoculars and assorted ID cards were stolen from LA 3127 at LA 3160 in Hahnville on March 24.

•Two 4D batteries and a 24V battery jumper cable, valued at $200, were stolen from 200 River Bend in St.Rose on March 24.

•An X-Box gaming console, assorted video games, a flat screen monitor and a GPS navigator, valued at $1115, were stolen from 48 Brandon Hall in Destrehan on March 25.
