Arrests

•Leonard Celestine, 23, of 1108 Paul Frederick St. in Luling was arrested on Oct. 6 and charged with possession with intent to sell crack cocaine, possession of Nabumetone, resisting an officer by flight and criminal damage to property.

•Robert W. Hodges, 36, of 9092 Purtius Rd. in St. Amant was arrested on Oct. 6 and charged with theft over $500.

•Ronnie L. Morgan, 53, was arrested on Oct. 6 and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

•Doris G. Maradiaga, 45, of 924 Hooter Rd. in Bridge City was arrested on Oct. 4 and charged with DWI, suspended driver’s license and open container.

•John W. Townsend, 30, of 5377 Aries St. was arrested on Oct. 3 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, failure to license vehicle and driver, no safety helmet and no registration certificates.

•William B. Willis, 25, of 21081 F. Joiner Rd. in Ponchatoula was arrested on Oct. 5 and charged with DWI, hit and run, careless operation and no insurance.

•Johnny W. Barksdale, 37, of 2405 Williamsburg Dr. was arrested on Oct. 4 and charged with DWI, improper lane use and expired driver’s license.

•Warren P. Cabana, 42, of 13329 Lakin Ridge Dr. in Ponchatoula was arrested on Oct. 3 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, negligent injury and no driver’s license.

•Jessie L. Chairs, 46, of 1219 31st St. in Kenner was arrested on Oct. 4 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and as a felon in possession of a firearm.

•Jason C. Guidroz, 37, of 114 Landry St. in Thibodaux was arrested on Oct. 5 and charged with DWI, aggravated flight, improper lane use, reckless operation, suspended driver’s license and switched license plate.

•Wallace J. Landry, III, 46, of 404 Palm St. in Houma was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with theft over $500.

•Jonathan Q. Edgerson, 18, of 2322 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with vehicle burglary, possession of tools for crime and falsifying a police report.

•Patrick Melancon, 33, of 158 Wisner St. in Paradis was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with DWI, hit and run, reckless operation and aggravated assault.
