Arrests
- Leonard Celestine, 23, of 1008 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with felony carrying illegal weapon and illegal discharge of a firearm from a vehicle.
- George Hunter, 34, of 145 J.B. Green Road in Des Allemands, was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of heroin and violation of parole.
- Jacori Hunter, 19, of 645 Oakwood Drive in Terrytown, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and license suspended. He was a fugitive.
- Rene Taylor, 32, of 389 East 26th St. in Reserve, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and license suspended.
- Ishalika Cambre, 33, of 356 Homeward Place in Reserve, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. She had an attachment and was a fugitive (three counts).
- Jose Banegas, 35, of 141 Becky Drive in Avondale, was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was a fugitive (four counts).
- Barry Doucet, 37, of 187 Wilson St. in Belle Chasse, was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with open container, possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
- Rose Silvestri, 55, of 47 West B St. in Norco, was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with possession of heroin and principle to distribution of SCH I CDS to wit heroin.
- Jamal Cannon, 23, of 170 Smith St. in Hahnville, was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with armed robbery — use of a firearm.
- Jiren Williams, 21, of 506 Killona Drive in Killona, was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with armed robbery – use of a firearm.
Thefts
- Three purses, assorted ID/credit cards and a small center console box were stolen from a vehicle on S. Kinler St. in Boutte on Feb. 17.
