Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• John Martin, 62, of 148 Hollywood Park in Montz, was arrested Sept. 19 and charged with domestic abuse battery/child endangerment.
• Ray Francois, 40, of 312 Tinney Street in Boutte, was arrested Sept. 19 and charged with reckless operation with accident, no insurance, safety helmet violation, no driver’s license, proclamation of a state of emergency and aggravated flight from an officer. He was a fugitive.
• Tyran Collor, 25, of 1624 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace, was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
• David Hodges, 49, of 107 Touchard Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested Sept. 17 and charged with theft.
• Neah Chopin, 23, of 104 Beaupre Drive in Luling, was arrested Aug. 19 and charged with headlamps for motor vehicle required, turning movement required and illegal possession of stolen things.
• Whittington Portera, 38, of 121 Lorraine Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, simple criminal damage to property and battery of a dating partner.
• Larenzo Porter, 36, of 1701 South Sugar Ridge in LaPlace, was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with resisting an officer, obstruction of justice, failure to display license plate, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He was a fugitive.
