Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• Darrick Burbank, 27, of 2812 Metairie Heights in Metairie, was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, illegal window tiny, possession of marijuana and speeding.
• Jelisa Bourgeois, 20, of 1220 Paul Maillard Road in Boutte, was arrested Oct. 21 and charged with aggravated battery.
• Joshua Bourgeois, 31, of 219 Matthew Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested Oct. 18 and charged with battery of a dating partner by strangulation, battery of a dating partner with serious injury (two counts) and battery of a dating partner by burning/minor injury.
