Arrests
• Dyrenell Robinson, 30, of 407 Kennedy Street in Ama, was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of amphetamine.
• Bruce Wuorio, 19, of 353 Woodland Drive in Boutte, was arrested for illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, manufacturing of marijuana and illegal use of dangerous instruments.
• Preston Brown Jr., 56, of 1101 Paul Frederick Street in Luling, was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with possession of firearm by convicted felon, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, possession of MDMA, suspended driver’s license, temporary registration plate and possession of oxycodone. He had an attachment.
• Brooke Benoit, 24, of 162 Easy Street in Des Allemands, was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by shoplifting, fugitive, violation of probation/parole and possession of methamphetamine.
• Amber Hebert, 32, of 159 Melonie Drive in Boutte, was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with theft by shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine. He was a fugitive (two counts).
• Luis Nunez, 31, of 14750 Cajun Paradise Road in Boutte, was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with aggravated second degree battery.
