Arrests

•Jamin Tobias, 40, of 57 Dunleith Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on Feb. 27 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell methamphetamine, suspended driver’s license and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Jerome P. Scott, 37, of 219 Killona Drive in Killona, was arrested on Feb. 27 and charged with monetary instrument abuse.

•Shane Becnel, 25, of 15 Parlange Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on Feb. 19 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute and use of a firearm with a controlled substance.

•Marco Monteilh, 27, of 25 Oakland Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on Feb. 19 and charged with possession of marijuana and improper turn signal.

•Cody P. Madere, 19, of 822 Early St. in Paradis, was arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Triche M. Meador, 30, of 822 Early St. in Paradis, was arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Monti C. Stone, 39, homeless, was arrested on Feb. 21 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, use of a firearm with a controlled substance and possession of a stolen auto.

•Coronji K. Calhoun, 23, of 850 Early St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on Feb. 19 and charged with possession with intent to distribute counterfeit marijuana, a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office attachment and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Gary Torrence, 45, of 3145 Roosevelt Blvd. in Kenner, was arrested on March 2 and charged with DWI, driving roadway lane of traffic and open alcohol container in vehicle.

•Antonio Ootsey, 5111 Freeman in Little Rock, Ark., was arrested on March 2 and charged with DWI, vehicle must use light lamps and driving roadway lane of traffic.

•Leonard Moore, 41, of 223 Rainbow St. in San Antonio, Texas, was arrested on March 2 and charged with DWI and reckless operation.
