Arrests
•John R. Jackson, 20, of 495 4th St. in St. Rose, was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with simple burglary, simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage under $500.
•Richard H. Benoit Jr., 52, of 121 Early St. in Paradis, was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with possession of crack, possession of drug paraphernalia and disregarding a stop sign.
•Margaret Montero, 39, of 225 Barecca St. in Norco, was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged with possession of amitriptyline, possession of and distribution of ibuprofen, possession and distribution of promethazine hydrochloride, aggravated burglary, simple battery, simple criminal damage $500-$5,000, possession of marijuana and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
•Terry J. Maza, 49, of 782 Hickory St. in Boutte, was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and two SCSO attachments.
•Jeremy J. Dorman, 26, of 4025 Kings Drive in Chalmette, was arrested on Dec. 27 and charged with second-degree battery.
•Keva Peters Sr., 36, of 312 Live Oak St. in Metairie, was arrested on Dec. 26 and charged with cruelty to a juvenile, simple battery, disturbing the peace and simple assault.
•Taylor Schexnayder, 20, of 139 Rail Road Ave. in Des Allemands, was arrested on Dec. 25 and charged with simple burglary and burglary of a vehicle.
•Steve Isaac, 37, of 111 First St. in Boutte, was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with five counts of theft of goods less than $500 and five counts of entry and remaining after forbidden.
•Jermaine Lockett, 39, of 209 Post St. in Killona, was arrested on Dec. 24 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, open alcohol container and for not driving on the right side of the road.
•Israel Ayala, 50, of 8776 Houma Drive in LaPlace, was arrested on Dec. 23 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation of vehicle.
•Ray Francois, 31, of 252 E. 14th St. in Edgard, was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with D.W.I., not having a driver’s license and open alcohol container in vehicle.
•LeRoy Hensley Jr., 44, of 1100 Primrose Drive in Boutte, was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation of vehicle and open alcohol container in vehicle.
•Terry Maza, 49, of 782 Hickory St. in Boutte, was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation of vehicle.
•Dillan Prine, 20, of 1806 Meredith Court in Deer Park, Texas, was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with D.W.I., open alcohol container in vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Ryan Modica, 19, of 122 Paula Drive in LaPlace, was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged with pornography with a juvenile.
•Billy G. Airhart, 44, of 407 Opal Davis Drive in Hornbeck, was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged with theft of goods over $1,500.
Thefts
•Assorted prescription medication, cash, a purse, ID cards and a diamond ring were stolen from 13899 River Road in Luling.
•Cash was stolen from a coin machine at 12609 U.S. 61 in Destrehan on Dec. 20.
•A swamp buggy vehicle was stolen from 134 Old Spanish Trail in Paradis on Dec. 20.
•A dishwasher and stove were stolen from 517 Kennedy St. in Ama on Dec. 26.
•A 2000 Ford truck was stolen from 296 Killona Drive in Killona on Dec. 26.
•Two TVs, a speaker box and assorted furniture were stolen from 13935 U.S. 90 in Boutte on Dec. 26.
•$200 in cash was stolen from 1021 Paul Frederick St. in Luling on Dec. 23.
•A knockout set, a power saw, an electric meter, a rear bumper, hydrocodone, a power drill, a tailgate and a hammer, valued together at $1,236, were stolen from 10093 U.S. 90 in Luling on Dec. 22.
