Arrests

•Gayland Mitchell, 31, of 508 Revere Drive in LaPlace, was arrested on Dec. 8 and charged with DWI, speeding, driver not licensed and open container.

•Aaron M. Derouen, 23, of 2117 Farmsite Road in Violet, was arrested on Dec. 8 and charged with DWI and improper control of vehicle.

•John R. Jackson, 21, of 495 Fourth St. in St. Rose, was arrested on Dec. 6 and charged with simple burglary and possession and distribution of counterfeit marijuana.

•Johnathan Augustine, 23, of 748 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on Dec. 6 and charged with simple burglary.

•Jovan A. Burke, 19, of 1809 Van Apel St. in LaPlace, was arrested on Dec. 6 and charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

•Bryan Preston, 29, of 216 Killona Drive in Killona, was arrested on Dec. 7 and charged with aggravated battery and a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office attachment.

•Lilliam J. Arevalo, 38, of 126 Ann Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on Dec. 7 and charged with 18 counts of forgery and unauthorized use of an access card as theft over $1,500.

•Stacie B. Larson, 39, of 216 Dunleith Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on Dec. 9 and charged with second-degree battery, disturbing the peace, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer.

•Leslie M. Reed, 20, of 2831 Orleans Ave. in New Orleans, was arrested on Dec. 12 and charged with first-degree murder.

•Ilean P. Medley, 63, of 163 Beck St. in Ama, was arrested on Dec. 12 and charged with DWI and reckless operation.

•Russell J. Bossier Jr., 42, of 111 Surrey Drive in Hahnville, was arrested on Dec. 12 and charged with DWI and speeding.

Thefts

•A bike was stolen from 15127 LA 18 in Hahnville on Nov. 25.

•A generator was stolen from 310 Lorraine St. in Destrehan on Dec. 3.

•A chain and a 55-inch TV were stolen from 161 Hollywood Park Road in Montz on Nov. 28.

•Assorted jewelry, assorted clothing, an XBox 360 and a TV were stolen from 124 Paul Frederick St. in Luling on Nov. 30.

•Four tires and rims were stolen from 123 Gassen St. in Luling on Dec. 2.

•A shipping container containing $25,000 worth of petroleum was stolen from 10352 River Road in St. Rose on Dec. 4.
