Gregson beats Faucheux in school board election

Robert Faucheux (right) and Raymond Gregson, both of Luling, faced off to represent the District 2 school board seat.

The District 2 School Board seat was decided yesterday when Robert Faucheux and Raymond Gregson, both of Luling, faced off in the contest to represent the area.

Gregson came out on top with 780 of the 1,263 total votes cast. Gregson clenched 62% of votes, which Faucheux garnered 483 votes.

Gregson secured 31 percent of the vote and Faucheux earned 29 percent of votes in the initial November election.
