Esterlina “Sis” Legendre Walker passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5.
Beloved wife of the late Elisha B. Walker Jr. Mother of Mickey W. Falgout, Tyrone Walker (Gina) and Elisha B. Walker III “Barry” (Kathy). Grandmother of Dwayne (Beth), Kristie (Rex), Terrance (Beth), Benjamin (Mary Ellen), Jessica (Don) and Jarrod (Amy). Great-grandmother of Ashlyn, Jacques, Katelyn and Dylan. Daughter of the late Eves Legendre and Pearl Toups Legendre. Sister of Dolores Landry, and the late Audrey Szush and Junius Legendre.
She was a bookkeeper and manager for Barton Federal Credit Union for 29 years.
The Funeral Mass was held in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero on Dec. 13. Interment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling.
