Douglas Alien Truxillo, 37, entered into enternal rest on Thursday, Aug. 9. He was the devoted father of Haley and Mikayla Truxillo.
He is survived by his first wife Somer A. Truxillo, his mother Denise Miller, father Steven Truxillo and stepmother Mercedes Truxillo. He leaves behind brothers; Jared (Cindy), Chance (Casey), stepbrothers Wayne (Angela), Robert (Jessica) and stepsisters; Tara and Toni (James). He also leaves 13 nieces and nephews. Douglas is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Elaine Truxillo and Claude and Margie Miller. At the time of his death he was sharing his life with Tisha Williams. Services were held on Monday Aug. 13 at Hosanna Church in Marrero. Family and Friends ,as well as employees of Marquette Gulf Inland, were invited to attend.
