Gladys Champagne Trauth, age 98, a native of Boutte and a resident of Luling, entered into Gods loving care on Monday, Sept. 22.
Visitation was Friday, Sept. 26 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
Wife of 73 years to the late Leo F. Trauth, Sr. Preceded in death by her only son, Leo “Peanut” Trauth, Jr. and her parents, James Champagne and Alice Lirette Champagne. Also preceded by her twin brother, Clarence, Milton and Wilbert; sisters, Mildred Laque and Mabel Schaubhut.
Survived by two grandsons, Darren (Dawn) and Jarrod Trauth; one great grandson, Dylan Trauth and a special niece, Betty Laque Tregre.
