Edwin Frederick “Mike” Trauth III, of Paradis passed away at his home on Saturday, April 30 at the age of 63.
Trauth was born to parents Sybil Bourg Dufrene and Edwin Frederick “Buddy” Trauth Jr. on Feb. 13, 1953 in New Orleans.
He was a graduate of Hahnville High School and lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Frederick “Buddy” Trauth Jr., stepfather, Johnny Dufrene Jr., mother, Sybil Bourg Dufrene, brother, Kyle Trauth, his sisters, Nicole Dufrene Candies and Kim Dufrene Lirette, Bother-in-law, Morris “Mo” Cavaliere Sr., and grandson, Ty Hunter Fleming.
He is survived by his three children, Brianna Lynn Trauth, Ashley Trauth Hebert and Edwin Frederick “Buddy” Trauth IV (mother-Sheila Champagne Trauth), his siblings, Vanessa K. Cavaliere, John G. Dufrene III, sister-in-law, Tina S. Dufrene, former wife, Veronica Giaise, and three grandchildren, Gage Micheal Fleming, Avery Grace Hebert, and Christian Jude Hebert.
Memorial services for friends and family will be announced once confirmed.
