James “Jimmy” Schaubhut, 81, passed away on Dec. 21, 2010 in Luling.
He was the beloved husband of Rita Naquin Schaubhut, father of Patricia Naquin (husband Clarence “Buster” Naquin), Pam Delatte Plaisance (husband Roland Plaisance) and the late Byron Schaubhut; son of the late William and Cecila Schaubhut, grandfather of nine, great-grandfather of 14 and great-great-grandfather of one. He was a native and resident of Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Dec. 23 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands with interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
