Ronald Charles Zeringue, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born November 11, 1948 and a longtime resident of Hahnville, LA. On his final day he was surrounded by his wife and children, whom he loved dearly.
Service and internment will be held on Thursday, September 30th at 10AM at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling for family and friends to attend.
Ronald worked for the St. Charles Parish School Board for 25 years. In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt, but his passion was gardening year round.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irma Mae Hymel Zeringue; His children- Kristie Zeringue Orgeron (Jason), Brooke Michelle Zeringue (Chad), and Ron Michael Zeringue. Grandchildren- Braeden Christopher Orgeron and Addison Noelle Orgeron. He is also survived by his siblings, James “Jabo” Zeringue, Sr. (Dale), Isabelle Z. Benoit (Carlton), Gayle Z. Bourgeois, Jenny Z. Oncale, and Sister-in-law, Carolyn Becnel Zeringue.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Andre’ and Isabelle Schexnayder Zeringue, and siblings- Nelwyn Ann Zeringue, Janice “Dee-Dee” Hymel, and Paul Zeringue, Sr.
