Rocco Anthony Dominic Jr. passed away December 24, 2020 at 75 years old. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Stephens Dominic and his children, Joy Ann Maddox, Rocco Dominic III (Diana), step-children, Amy-Lynn Pelaez (Alejandro), James Tero (Ashley), and Patrick Tero (Jaime). Grandchildren, Heather Westbrook, Christopher Dunkelberger (Ashley), Zachary Dominic, Nicholas Dominic, Riley Tero, Cooper Tero, and Luna Pelaez. Great-grandchildren, Cody Westbrook, Harleigh Dunkelberger, and Zoe Dunkelberger. He is also survived by his siblings, Janice Arterburn, Joy Welsh, Casey Dominic Sr., and his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Darleen Dominic, as well as many nephews, nieces, and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Roxsann White, parents, Rocco Dominic Sr. and Sarah Dominic, and his brother Joseph Dominic.
Rocco served the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office for 35 years. His love and desire of law enforcement work showed through his years as an instructor in the training department for literally hundreds of officers over the last several years. He had the reputation of a warrior with a heart of gold. Rocco was truly at home at the range, which allowed him to train others.
He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, celebrating holidays, and in his younger years, restoring cars and attending car shows. He also enjoyed dancing and having a good time. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services for Rocco on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, LA at 1PM; visitation will begin at 9 AM.
