Raymond L. Slicker

Raymond L. Slicker, 69, of Poplarville, Miss., was born Sept. 4, 1948 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Milton Leroy Slicker Sr. and Mona Koester Slicker.

He was a retired HVAC technician, an avid commercial fisherman and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Linda Slicker; two brothers Russell Slicker, Paul Slicker; one sister, Gloria Gregg and granddaughter, Paige Thompson.

Family members include nine children, Qua Ann Thompson, Rae Ann (Freddy) Alltop, Milton L. (Tamara) Slicker, II, Raymond Slicker, II,Scottie (Brandi) Slicker, Alvin (Lidia) Donohue, Lisa Donohue, Sidney (Holly) Donohue, and Steven Donohue; one sister, Cathy Marrow; one brother, Carl Slicker, Sr.; grandchildren, Heather, Logan, Sean, Steven, Shawn, Chase, Chance, Chad, Hunter, Kaden, Mason, Kylie, Cruz, Ryan, David, Gunnar, David, Shelby, Rachel, and Dani; great grandchildren, Liam, Shawn, Sarah and Westin.

A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be at 949 Magnolia Ridge Road, Boutte, LA, 70039 on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Please call (504) 382-1418.
