Margie Falgout Parker, 83, passed away on Jan. 31, 2011 in Boutte.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Parker, mother of Richard “Mike” Parker (wife Rose), David W. Parker (wife Loretta) and Sue Parker Mullins Burns; daughter of the late Benjamin and Alcidia Zeller Falgout, sister of Wilbert Falgout, Dolores Plaisance and the late Milton Falgout and Anna Mae Friloux; grandmother of Kevin Parker, Riley Parker, Kara Mullins Norville Parker, Joshua Parker, Robin Parker, Allison Parker, John Burns and Amanda Burns; and great-grandmother of nine. She was a native of Des Allemands and resident of Boutte.
Religious services were held at West St. Charles Baptist Church in Boutte on Feb. 5 with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Foundation are preferred. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
