Pamela (Alice) Paretti Decuers was peacefully escorted to her heavenly home on August 30, 2024. Born on December 4, 1950, she was born and raised in New Orleans and resided in Luling, Louisiana.
Pam graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School in 1968 and married the love of her life on July 17, 1970, and remained married for 54 years.
As an adult, she became a member of The Bible Center Church where she joyfully served as church secretary for over 32 years.
Pam loved gardening and sitting on her patio appreciating the beauty of God’s gifts in her own back yard. She loved doing things for her church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pam is survived by her adoring husband Larry Decuers, Sr, sons Larry (Rachael), Chad (Jayna), ex-daughter-in-law Renee Ricks, grandchildren Samantha Decuers Horn (Taylor), Michael Decuers (fiancée – Alexis), Eliette Decuers, John Wiley Decuers, great-grandchildren Raif and Koe Horn, brothers Louis Paretti (Sherry), Joseph Paretti (Sheila), Dominick (Nick) Paretti, brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Hornick, sisters Paula Berlier (Jeffrey), JoAnn Spinner (Guy), a very special friend, Donna Parker, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elliott Henry and Esther Brooks Paretti, and sister Patricia Ann Paretti Hornick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with services starting at 2:30 pm. An inurnment will follow immediately after the service in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
