Geason
Percy T. “Skinner” Geason on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Chaubert Medical Center, Houma, LA. Son of the late Milton Geason and Fanny Johnson. Husband of Beverly Ann Geason. Father of Letitia LeBeauf, Crystal Rafiel, Erica Clement, Percy, Tyra, Kelva, Dionca and Jason Hill. Brother of Dorothy Hensley, Charles Smith, Shirley Joseph, Gloria Simmons, the late Teresa Steibs, Lawrence, Milton, Jr. and Alex Geason. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 62 years. A native of St. James, LA and a resident of Boutte, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members fo First Baptist Church and all neighboring churches were invited to attend the funeral service at the above mentioned church on March 9. Hymel
Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Mae Hymel, 87, were held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Chruch in Destrehan. Entombment was in the church mausoleum. Viewing began at 10am in the church with Rev. Msgr. Harry Bugler officiating. Elsie Hymel, a resident of Lafayette, LA, died at 8:45pm on March 7, 2006 after a brief illness. Survivors include Clyde J. Hymel of Ft. Worth, Texas and wife Charlene and 3 children, Mary Toce of Lafayette, LA, and husband Oran and 2 daughters. She is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her only surviving brother, Tyrus Keller, resides in Destrehan, LA. Robert Hymel, her son, was killed September 11, 2001 at the Pentagon and is survived by his wife Beatrice and daughter Natalie and her husband Patrick and 2 daughters. Mrs. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Sidney G. Hymel, Jr., and one son Robert J. Hymel. Before moving to Lafayette, Elsie was born and lived in St. Charles Parish.

Alexander Funeral Home of Norco, was in charge of arrangements.

NAQUIN
Nollie N. Naquin, on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 5:16 PM in Houma, LA. Beloved husband of Rosa Dempster Naquin. Father of Carol Folse, Karen Deville, Tessa Hymel, Patricia Dominique and the late Winston Tucker. Son of the late Caliste and Agglia Defrene Naquin. Brother of Whitney Naquin, Wilbert “Brud” Naquin, Inez Naquin and Naise Dufrene. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A native and resident of Des Allemands, LA. Age 76.
Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA, on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 11:00AM. Interment Mennonite Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA. Visitation was from 9:00AM until the funeral time at the church. Falgout Funeral Homes, was in charge of arrangements.

Pintado
Richard Joseph Pintado, of Waggaman, LA, on Thursday, March 19, 2006. Beloved husband of 49 1/2 years of Evelyn Friloux Pintado. Father of Vicki Pintado Childress(Larry), and Troy Joseph Pintado(Dawn Zeringue Pintado) Grandfather of Christopher Averite, Richard Childress, Brianne Childress, Zachery Pintado, Jessica Pintado, and Sarah Pintado. Son of the late Margaret Pintado Boudreaux Peltier, Marie Pintado Laughlin Polkey, and the late Lee Pintado, Jr. Age 78 years. A native of Luling, LA, and a resident of Waggaman, LA, for many years. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend Funeral Services at Boutte Assembly of God Church, 13271 Hwy. 90, Boutte, LA, on Monday, March 13, 2006. Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, was in charge of arrangements.
