Ione M. Falgout, 52, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006. She is survived by children; David Falgout, Jr., Anna M. Alfred Piner. Sister of Alvin Barham, and sister of Mary Redford and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2006 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment Jefferson Memorial. H.C. Joseph Jimmie Corso, Sr., a retired Senior Technician for Monsanto Chemical died at his residence in the presence of his family on Saturday, April 8, 2006. He was 74. Mr. Corso was born and reared in Biloxi, Miss. and lived in Destrehan for the past 52 years. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Biloxi, Class of 1949. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and served honorably and faithfully with the Office of the U.S. Naval Attache, Taipei, Taiwan and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 366. Beloved husband of Edith “Edie” Steele Corso for 52 years.
Father of Joseph J. “Rusty” Corso, Jr., Cabot L. Corso, and Mitzie C. Abadie. Son of the late Nellie Loretta Guilder and Joe Corso. Brother of Tina Harrison, Rita Jackson, and the late Maxine Covacevich. Grandfather of Cory, Lacie, Sean and Michael Corso, Alison and Brad Corso, and Lexie and Hunter Abadie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Services were at Kenner Funeral Home of L. A. Muhleisen and Son, 2607 Williams Blvd. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends visited from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and after 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Lloyd Emile Alphanso, Jr. “Snookie”, a truly beloved husband, father, brother and friend to all passed away on April 8, 2006 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge at age 68. He was born in New Orleans on September 15, 1937. He was a native of St. Bernard Parish, a resident of Luling, and relocated to Baton Rouge after Katrina. He served in the US Air Force for over 7 years, where he met his beloved friend, Ella Lossett. He had been a friend of Bill W. for 26 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Emile Alphonso and Helen Littlejohn Alphonso Hopkins. He is survived by his wife Patricia Blanchard Alphonso; sons Irin, David, Eric and daughter Michelle A. Barrosse; siblings Henry, Charles, Lionel, Peter, Kevin, Helen A. Cook, Mary A. Huck, Karren A Hyver, Deborah A. Rareshide; grandchildren David “Mitch” Jr., Tiffinnie, Christopher, Eric C., Ashton, Jennifer, Allison, Michelle, Kimberly, Michael, Kristen A., Kristen C., Katie, Dana, Crystal, Peter, Spencer, Marla, Eric Jr. and Anna Irene; and great-grandchild Seth. Services were held at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment at St. Charles Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requested masses or donations to American Heart Associates of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
