Leblanc
Leonore Glaess “Lee” LeBlanc, 62, a resident of Lacey for 18 years, passed away into the arms of our Lord on Friday, July 2006 following a very long illness. Leonore was born on December 7, 1943 in Zwickau, Germany to Eugene and Emmy Glaess. She married Manfred John LeBlanc of Des Allemands, LA in Salzburg, Austria in May 1967. Sister-in-law of Betty Savoie, of Des Allemands, Carol Alvarez of Nine Mile Point, and Lutie “Lou” Verda of Luling, and Marvin LeBlanc of Des Allemands. Brother-in-law, Lester “Bobby” LeBlanc, of Des Allemands preceded her in death. Leonore became fascinated with numbers and office work early in her life and spent most of her working years as an office clerk, bank clerk, and leasing consultant. She became a naturalized American citizen in 1970 in New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Manfred LeBlanc, two daughters: Christine Davis of Tumwater, WA., Yvonne Reid of Winchester, CA. and by her son, Michael Leblanc, and two grandchildren. Her sister, Ingrid Mueller, of Pang/Rosenheim, Germany, preceded her in death Leonore cared greatly about her family and country. She was a compassionate, devoted wife and mother who loved numbers, bookkeeping, nature, animals, and travel. She enjoyed the many opportunities Army life offered in moving and seeing different cultures. She especially enjoyed living in Hawaii. Comedy was a big part of her life and she always had a smile, a positive attitude, and something good to say about everything and everyone. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. A private, family members only, memorial service was held at Woodlawn Memorial Funeral Services on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice, P.O. Box 5008, Olympia, WA 98509, or to the Olympia Union Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 7668, Olympia, WA 98507-7668.

Savoie
Lucia Dufrene Savoie, on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 in Des Allemands, La.  Beloved fiance’ of Jody Bellanger.  Mother of Michael Savoie Jr. and Katelyn Bellanger.  Daughter of Clara Bell Usie Dufrene and late Terry J. Dufrene, Sr. Sister of Terry J. Dufrene, Jr., Albert Dufrene, Rosalind Lewis, Lisa Breaux and Robyn Griffin.  Grandmother of Seth Savoie.  A native and resident of Des Allemands, La.  Age 42 years.  Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, La. Interment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Naquin
Viola Authement Naquin, on Friday, August 4, 2006 at Houma, La.  Beloved wife of the late Anthony Naquin.  Mother of Lampton, Alvin, Larry, Michael, Rodney Naquin, Viney Larousse, Leila Naquin, Eva Ann Faulk and Marsha Naquin.  Daughter of the late Wilson and Grace Dufrene Authement.  Sister of Isaac, Cleveland Authement and the late Leo and Jonah Authement.  Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by one grandchild.  A native of Bayou Gauche, La., and a resident of Des Allemands, La.  Age 86 years.  Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, La.  Interment Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, La.  Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Montaldo
Loris Joseph Montaldo, Jr. “Manny”, a native and resident of Destrehan, La., died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 3:40 p.m. in Jefferson, La.  Age 80.  A retiree of Bunge and former long-time employee of Destrehan/Luling Ferry Boat.  He was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Navy.  Survivors include his devoted companion, Mary Belle Badeaux of Destrehan, La.; 2 sisters: Juanita M. Andrus of Amite, La., and Lucille M. O’Shello of River Ridge, La.; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by: parents Loris J. Montaldo, Sr. and Earline B. Montaldo; wife, Marie M. Montaldo; and 1 sister, Bonnie M. Bolotts.  Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, La.  Interment St. Charles Borromoeo Cathlic Church, Destrehan, La.  Alexander Funeral Home of Norco was in charge of arrangements.
