Phyllis R. Mondy, 81, a native of St. Francisville and resident of Luling, passed away on Oct. 13.
She was retired from the St. Charles Parish School Board office. She was a loving mother, devout Catholic, and avid Saints and LSU fan who will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by sons Michael Mondy (wife Tami) and Norman Mondy; daughters, Susan Oakland and Karen Laney (husband David); and grandchildren, William, Rachel, and Scott; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leopold and Josephine Ristroph; brothers, Paul, J.D., John and Leo Ristroph; sisters, Claire Blaufuss, Erlyne Madere and Rita Labry.
