Mark William Tienvieri

Mark William Tienvieri passed away at home in Destrehan, Louisiana on Friday, May 22, 2020 from heart failure at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife and high school sweetheart of 48 years, Grenda (Baker) Tienvieri.  He is also survived and will be fondly remembered by his brother Peter Tienvieri (Nicole), sister Nancy McNeal (Al), father-in-law Jack E. Baker, sister-in-law Tanya Beech (Len) and brother-in-law Brad Baker (Janice), 10 beautiful nieces and nephews Valerie (Tim), Dale (Nicole), Jennifer, Dayna, Weston, Meredith, Michael, Nolan, Skylar and McKenna. He was predeceased by his father, William T. Tienvieri, mother Gladys E. (Malstrom) Tienvieri and mother-in-law Catherine Elaine (Nelson) Baker.

Mark was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He attended Ohio University where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent the last 30 years living in the New Orleans area where he worked for Shell Oil Company as a Senior Project Engineer.

His many hobbies and interests included boating; fishing for specs, reds, and flounders; RV camping; restoring their classic Camaro and remodeling their home. He especially loved teaching his wife his vast knowledge of how things worked, and more importantly, how things could be fixed. Mark was accomplished, talented and passionate and was successful at everything in life.

No memorial service is planned due to current social-distancing guidelines. The family would like to thank family, friends and H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco, Louisiana for their compassion during this difficult time.
